Some Inspiration...
Come And Make An Apron With Me...

In My Hoop at the Moment...

The 'Birds of Happiness' Quilt in progress:

Sept 16 08 Happiness Birds020

Which is on my favourite Stitching Chair (yes, it's a POANG from my favourite store - IKEA)...

Sept 16 08 Happiness Birds026

I decided that I needed a stitch that would stand out a little more than my traditional Back Stitch (my favourite) so I'm having a go with Chain Stitch which is really working for the leaves and the branches of the tree. It's also quite an easy stitch and lots of fun:

Will keep you in the  hoop loop...

P.S. If you have a blog why not share a photo of your Stitching Chair this week, or maybe what's in your hoop! Leave a link with your comment so people can come over to your blog for a peek!

P.P.S. I have just added another online store to my list of shop links. Have a look at www.simplystitches.com.au.

Beautiful design Leanne...look forward to seeing the end result!

What have I got on at the moment? Where do I start!? I have just finished a cute horse wallhanging, which I'll be putting up as a tutorial on my blog. http://missymack.blogspot.com/

I don't really have a favouite sewing spot, but I often like to sit outside on our verandah in the sun, with my feet up. :)

Hey Leanne! Love how your new design is coming up - brilliant as always!! Hmmmm, I don't use a hoop and I wouldn't know which of the seven or eight projects I have on the go to take a photo of! My sewing spot is one end of the sofa with my feet up the other end - my end is the one with so many pins stuck in it it looks like an echidna! Hmmm perhaps I need your pincushion pattern! Tee! Hee! Hee! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

I love reading your blog Leanne as it is always full of inspiration. I go online every morning and get my "Blog Fix" before heading off to my own shop (Veronica Violet Stitcheries). I will add a photo of what is in my hoop/hoops to my blog tonight.I'm still a 'learner' at the whole blog thing.(www.veronicaviolet.typepad.com)

My hoop is empty at the moment, but these blogs are giving me so much inspiration!

I used to have a POANG chair from Ikea too - and it was so comfortable to stitch in. Now I just stitch sitting on the one end of our couch.

Thanks Leanne for asking people to post links to their chairs, l'm in the market for a new chair and don't know what style to go for so this will inspire me l'm sure. I just love your new design and am happily stitching away at my BUTTERFLY GARDEN quilt, with only the last 9 blocks to be completed.
