Two Brown Chickens Giveaway...

The new 'Two Brown Chickens' pattern is out today! (Of course my hubby was quick to point out that they are two brown chickens in Red Work!)LOL:

The pattern comes with an iron-on transfer for the framed stitchery as well as a 'light box' copy for tracing (maybe you'd just like to stitch the little house or maybe the chickens):

The pattern includes full instructions for both the framed stitchery and the cushion (before you ask, you need 1/2 meter for the cushion of the Moda 'Swell' big red rose on yellow if you want the same as the one here):

So, as always when I have a new pattern release, I will be giving away five copies of 'Two Brown Chickens'. Simply leave a comment on this post and I'll draw a winner on Friday the 16th May 2008:

If you can't wait Kerry Swain from 'The Cottage on the Hill' will have patterns, and even kits if you like, of 'Two Brown Chickens'. Visit Kerry via her blog, website www.cottageonthehill.com.au or phone her on 02 6769 3297.

I had an incredible amount of fun recently when I was at Kerry's retreat in Nundle (have a peek back at the last few posts if you missed all that fun) where the ladies worked on this project.

Like to see the originals that are in these photos? Drop into Foothills Fabric and Threads and visit Lesley and Sandra, that's where they are!

Until Friday,

Leanne Beasleyxxx

P.S. For all the ladies that have been trying to get in contact with Kim at Honeysuckle Cottage I spoke with her today and she assures me that her new email address is now up and running! So if you are waiting on something give her an email at: [email protected]. You can also call her on (02) 6723 7377.

P.P.S Thanks to Marg and Lou at GlenHarrow Gardens for letting me photograph their chickens for this post because there's only one brown chicken left in my backyard (thanks Mr. Fox)!

I am snuggling under my To Georgia Love Mummy quilt as I type (Brisbane has had its first cold day today)- although my quilt says 'faith, hope and love'. FAITH - the belief that there will always be time to engage in needlecraft HOPE - that you never stop designing Leanne and LOVE - of your patterns and the inspiration you give to others to 'get creative'. And....yes the chickens are yet another example of why we love what you do! Please enter me in the draw if it's not too late. Vivian

I woke-up thinking about these red-work brown hens. Sigh... you have really captured the charm and appeal that captivates me. I hope my name was already in the drawing, and if I haven't won... I will be looking for a way to purchase a pattern, so I can bring those sweet chooks home to live with me.
