After the 'Girls' Day in the Country' on Saturday Rosie and I had a different kind of retreat - a trip to Kerry's shop:

Of course, I couldn't resist a bit of a shop myself (lucky there was a tiny bit of room left in the suitcase!):

What a quaint little shop! Oh how I wish we had similar shops in my neck of the woods! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to travel! ;o) Love your purchases! Thank you for sharing!

Looks like a truly fabulous weekend!!! I love your chicken stitcheries, they are delightful (chickens are my fav!!) and the shop looks gorgeous!

Your last post looks a lot like the California countryside in summer! Just goes to show how much alike the world really is. Really enjoy all your posts. The Vietnam black and white pictures were magnificent!

Hi Leanne, love that day in the country range that you have in the pile, I see there is one there is one I don't have. I am using it to make's Gail's Seasons quilt and and I just love its fresh bright look.

Oh how lucky you are - I wish we had shops like this over here - hoping to get a day away without DH lurking in background humming and hahing to a shop we heard of recently - ie 'fun day out'

at least fabric is fat free! Judging by all the blogs you guys are on, it seems like I missed out on a super weekend.. bugger! will save my $'s for next year.. My feral auntie lives in Nundle too, so could visit and do a quilty thingy.. glad you had a wonderful and safe trip, even on the sparrow sized plane...
