Yes, I am Still Here!
November 27, 2007
I am not off buying fabric in Paris:
Or eating their never ending supply of heavenly cakes:
Or even snapping photos of lovers walking Parisien streets:
No, I am still here in my lovely little studio busily putting the finishing touches to all the 'Butterfly Garden' patterns (and Teacher's Notes, and Shop Guides, and etc.!).
I'm sorry if you've missed me (or you have one of those unanswered emails) but when I get into the nitty gritty of the finishing touches of my patterns it is you that I am thinking of. I fuss and bother and rewrite and redraw all the time thinking of you opening the packet, the crisp pages full of words and drawings from me. It has to be just right.
So I am back to it for now, I hope you understand, I know you will be glad when that first pattern arrives...
Back soon,
Leanne Beasley xxx
P.S. There will be more photos to come of my brief stop over in Paris on the way home from Norway.
Leanne?? Where are you?? I hope life is treating you better than me at the moment.. have had my mum die, dad has had a trip to hospital and now I have shingles! And this is all in the past fortnight... bring on 2008 I say!
I love your pics of Paris, and I'd just love to get my teeth into those pastries... *sigh*...
Lissa
who is eating through a straw at the moment! LOL Can you puree pastries???

Your pictures from Paris are great, and that fabrics you picked up looks yummy (wonder what you'll do with them... *lol*). Hope you are enjoying finishing those patterns - as you know I love the Butterfly Garden! (and have made a little head start...). Even though I await the arrival of the patterns eagerly, don't stress with them - enjoy this last step of your creative process :o)

Hi,I love the photos of Paris. About that Butterfly quilt pattern - How can I get one? Glad you had such a lovely trip!

Paris looks divine! I see you also have the unique quilt shop "radar" which allows you to locate a quilt store anywhere remotely nearby! :P A very useful skill i must say.

Thanks for the pics of Paris - I would so love to go there one day.
How delightful to have a pic of yourself & the fabrics that will one day become a finished quilt/bag or whatever. One day you'll reflect with a friend & say (posh voice) "Oh yes, I bought that fabric during my trip in Paris back in 2007"
If you keep posting a few pics here & there, we'll all wait patiently & happily for you to finish your pattern writing.

Even when you're busy designing patterns, or over in other countries, you are still inspiring to so many of us!! We LOVE to see what you are up to - and for those who are unlikely to go to such places, it is your sharing that makes us so appreciative of what's out there in the big wide world.
